Our participation grades were always invoking critical thinking about the readings and lectures, which is nice to see from an online course. She was always quick in responding to emails and encouraging when it came to research topics.

Reflections on Online Teaching

I have been teaching online for five years now, however this year was one with a specific set of challenges for both students and faculty. This year I found it so important to create a sense of community with the students online, to the best of my ability, so that we all had some semblance of connection. I’m very grateful for and humbled by this nomination.
